The 32 and 40-mm bore units have a clamp stroke of 10 or 20 mm; the 50-mm unit's stroke is 20 or 50 mm. Clamp forces range from 27 lb at 29 psi for the 32-mm unit to 371 lb at 145 psi for the 50-mm size. Swing Clamp cylinders rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise and offer a variety of swing-arm options, including an adjustable arm.
Pistonrod rotation can be reversed in the field if necessary. The head, cap, and cylinder body are anodized aluminum, and a metallic rod scraper and polyurethane bumpers are standard on all bore sizes. Standard seals include Buna nitrile rubber for the piston, rod, and cylinder body. Fluorocarbon seals are available for chemical resistance at temperatures to 250°F.
