A special-edition SLK350 roadster from Mercedes-Benz USA will raise money for retailer Sak's Fifth Avenue's "Key to the Cure" program. Mercedes expects to donate up to $1 million through the sale of 1,000 SLK350 convertibles. Donated funds will go toward new detection methods, treatments, and cures for female cancers nationwide via the Entertainment Industry Foundation's (EIF) Women's Cancer Research Fund.

The MY05 SLK350 features a six-speed manual or optional seven-speed automatic transmission, a lowered sport suspension, a distinctive chrome grille, and brushed aluminum side mirrors. A 3.5-liter V6 produces 268-hp and launches the SLK350 from zero to 60 mph in 5.5 sec.
