Oceana wins government contract

The Air Force Research Laboratory Materials & Manufacturing Directorate has awarded a two-year, $1.1 million contract to Oceana Sensor, Virginia Beach, Va. (www.oceanasensor.com). The company will develop manufacturing processes and commercialization strategies for their ICHM (Intelligent Component Health Monitor) 20/20 wireless-sensing and data-acquisition systems. The award is funded by DoD's Title III program to drive commercialization and cost-effective manufacturability for future COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) government procurement. AT&T Government Solutions, Fairborn, Ohio (www.business.att.com), is the prime contractor for this project.
