The Virtual Gibbs Multi-Task Machining module (MTM) supports CNC programming for a range of MTM CNC machine tools. Spindles can be fixed, moving, or Swiss style. Bar feeders, programmable tailstocks, and part catchers are easily controlled. The module supports single spindle/multiple turret and multiple spindle/multiple turret machine-tool configurations. With the new Sync Manager, users can visualize and adjust complex process synchronization. Geometric information about a model, such as 3D cursor location on faces and various measurements, can be obtained from the Cut Part Rendering function at any stage, so users can better evaluate the machining process. Viewing controls include image panning and rotation. Virtual Gibbs reads and machines data in a variety of formats such as VDA-FS, DXF, DWG, Catia, Step AP203, and AP214, as well as native SolidWorks and Solid Edge.
