The D Series cast-iron , fan-drive gearmotor now offers an integrated valve to match fan speed to cooling demand. And it is reportedly the only fan-drive motor of this type with the ability to reverse fan rotation for radiator cleaning. The motor offers the pressure, temperature, and radial-load capabilities of a piston motor, but is more compact, contamination resistant, and economical. It also exceeds the capabilities of traditional aluminum motors. Displacements range from 14 to 45 cc with ratings to 276 bar (4,000 psi) and 110°C (230°F). D Series motors are compatible with PLUS+1 microcontrollers and other compliant products, including sensors, joysticks, and graphical display terminals.
