Piezoelectric Motor

Aug. 19, 2004
The ST Series piezoelectric motor is said to be the smallest of its kind, with an overall length 9 mm less than its predecessor.

PIEZOELECTRIC MOTOR

The motor provides high-resolution motion control for linear and rotary devices while using a fraction of the space of traditional mechanisms. Suitable for motion in the nanometer range, the ST operates at speeds to 250 mm/sec and provides 1.5 N of force. The motors are available in standard and vacuumcompatible configurations.
