Brushless servomotors

May 20, 2013
The AB Series of IP65 industrial-grade, brushless servomotors come in three NEMA frame sizes and various stack lengths. The line exhibits a medium-to-high torque constant (KT) to accommodate dc-bus voltage ranges from 325 down to 170 Vdc.

The AB Series of IP65 industrial-grade, brushless servomotors come in three NEMA frame sizes and various stack lengths. The line exhibits a medium-to-high torque constant (KT) to accommodate dc-bus voltage ranges from 325 down to 170 Vdc.

Features include an IP65-rated design, a heavy-duty 0.5-in. output shaft, front shaft seals, military-style multipin connectors, internal Hall-effect devices spaced at 120 electrical degrees, and two thermostats for overload protection. Available accessories include optical encoders, external holding brakes, precision gearheads, and mating power and sensor cables.

The motors are available in NEMA-23, 34, and 56 mounting configurations and provide continuous stall-torque output from 3.75 to 114 lb-in. and peak torque from 11.3 to 339 lb-in. Rated speeds range from 2,800 to 5,200 rpm.
