Stainless-Steel Spring Pins Withstand Corrosive Environments

April 14, 2015

The 316 Coiled Spring Pins, consisting of stainless steel, are designed for applications that work within highly corrosive environments. Their nickel and molybdenum content helps resist pitting when used in petrochemical-industry settings or when submerged in seawater.  The pins come in metric sizes with nominal diameters ranging from 2 to 6 mm and lengths from 8 to 50 mm. In addition to uniform strength and flexibility after insertion, their shock-absorbing design dampens forces and vibration to prevent hole damage and prolong assembly life.
