IDTechEx will host Energy Harvesting & Storage Europe 2009 in Cambridge, UK, to assess the applications, technologies and opportunities for energy harvesting and storage.

Energy harvesting (energy scavenging) is concerned with converting ambient energy into electricity for small devices. Applications include perpetual devices which can run for decades, wireless sensors and switches, and powering devices from watches to laptops to new printed electronics.
