Telemark skiers can tackle practically any terrain, including hair-raising downhills.They can change the flexibility and tightness of the connection holding the skis to their boots using the tour throw lever. In Ski mode, the connection tightens and stiffens to allow more ski control for downhill rides. Tour mode eliminates as much resistance to flexing as possible to make it easier to climb or cover flat ground using a comfortable gait.
