The Exosuit lets divers work at depths of up to 1,000 ft while breathing air at atmospheric pressure. The diver carries breathing gases for up to 72 hr under the water. Oxygen is circulated into the suit as needed to keep gas ratios constant. A soda-lime scrubber removes carbon dioxide from the suit’s atmosphere. Fins attached to the suit’s feet make swimming easier.
