The Menard Competition Technologies V12, which was originally designed and built for Formula race cars, will be used to power a fuel pump, as well as a generator and hydraulic pump in the Bloodhound. Like most Bloodhound components, it was chosen for its power and small size, plus the fact it is readily available. Here the engine is shown in a Superleague Formula chassis.
