Callaway’s Twin Turbo Corvette provided the basis for his 880-hp SledgeHammer, the fastest street-drivable car in the world, complete with windshield wipers, cruise control, and stereo. The car set the record, 254.76 mph, in a competition against Ferrari, Porsche, and other European automakers. The SledgeHammer is currently in the Corvette Museum.
