Equibiaxial tension testing of rubber is done with a Japanese Iwawoto machine. The sample shown here was tested at NASA Space Center in Houston, Tex. The setup is rare in the U.S. and manufacturers have sought cheaper ways to test rubbers’ equibiaxial tension.
