The Eddy Current Inspection system created by Wyle Laboratories uses nondestructive inspection to check the structural integrity of aircraft systems such as jet-engine turbine blades. It can detect a crack in a turbine blade 10-μm deep, 10-μm wide, and 100-μm long.
