When producing a training video, it's always a good idea to plan your demonstrations ahead of actual taping. Otherwise you might find yourself having a few problems like Mehdi Sadaghdar here in his training demo video Don't worry, it's just ESD (Electrostatic Discharge). On a personal note, I've been hit with fully charged 15 kV zapper, so I have a real "feel" for Mehdi's reactions to 25 kV. Ouch!

So actual or staged? The comments on YouTube seem to flow each way. Personally, I think the shocks were accidental, but intentionally left in the video. Maybe he should call it the Electrostatic Discharge Blooper Reel.
