Siemens Energy and Automation, Atlanta, has formed Safety Integrated U.S.A. to bring the latest safety technology to the company's U.S. automation product lines including PLCs, sensors, industrial control products, motion control, and drives.

Siemens Energy and Automation, Atlanta, has formed Safety Integrated U.S.A. to bring the latest safety technology to the company's U.S. automation product lines including PLCs, sensors, industrial control products, motion control, and drives.

Recently, the company's Simatic S7-315F fail-safe safety PLC became the only programmable safety controller to receive UL labs listing for functional safety. The listing certifies that the software and firmware-based controller can be used to automate machine safety interlocks.
