Software for quick and complex form generation

3D concept design and visualization software solidThinking 8.5 and solidThinking 8.5 Inspired introduce more than 900 new features, enhancements and updates. These include: a new Face Extract modeling tool which creates new surface objects by extracting faces of existing objects; improved import and export capability for IGES, STEP and STL; and enhanced anti-aliasing techniques and more efficient glossy materials for real-time rendering. The versions also measure static weight distribution of parts and assemblies on supports. The software includes a special computational, form-generation technology said to let designers and architects explore many design options during the concept phase.
