Semiconductor makers go with Windchill
Hynix Semiconductor Ltd. (formerly Hyundai Electronics Ltd.) and Intersil Corp. are both installing Windchill product collaboration software from PTC, Needham, Mass. Hynix, a supplier of DRAM, SRAM, and Flash memories, semiconductor foundry services based in Korea, says Windchill is going on servers at its internal R&D center. Intersil, a Palm Bay, Fla., maker of chips in the analog, mixedsignal, and radio-frequency wireless markets, will standardize on Windchill for development of its communication products.
