Printer-friendly version

The bearings from Rex Bearing Div., Rexnord Corp., Downers Grove, Ill., are made of a Teflon-woven fabric supported by a filament-wound fiberglass shell. They feature 30,000-psi dynamic-load capacity and are said to eliminate metal-to-metal wear and galling. Applications include hydraulic cylinders on construction and foundry equipment, agricultural and military vehicles, conveyors, packaging machinery, and scissor lifts.
