Roller-Pinion System

The Roller Pinion System (RPS) converts rotary motion into precise backlash-free linear motion while operating at high speeds over long distances. A patented tooth design, combined with a pinion consisting of bearing-supported rollers that move along the face of each tooth, offers long life over traditional rack-and-pinion or ball-screw systems. The RPS maintains positioning speeds of 36 fps without creating heat or wear on components.
