The devices use a slit-ring design for greater shaft-tolerance variation.

The Series is interchangeable with other locking devices, provides a backlash-free connection, and eliminates keys, keyways, splines, press fits, and shrink fits.

The easily installed, adjusted, and removed assemblies are available with or without flanges in sizes from to 65/16 in. and 19 to 180 mm. The Series consists of RfN 7005, available in 1 to 9 in. and 25 to 600 mm; and RfN 7009 in 2 to 715/16 in. and 70 to 600 mm.
