Graphalloy bushings and bearings can withstand temperature from cryogenic to 1,000°F and are dimensionally stable when submerged or under load — applications where oil, grease, and plastic fail. The components, made from a graphite/metal alloy (molten metal, graphite, and carbon), are self-lubricating, a key feature in applications where maintenance operations are infrequent or difficult.

Copper Graphalloy bushing Fittyings

It was intresting to note about graphalloy suitability on cryogenics.
This means ,can we use the Dry ice ( CO2 ) to freeze the bushing for assembly in the housing .
We have a 4 " dia copper graphalloy bush bearing to be fitted in the housing which has 10 thou interference .

Alternativley is there any standrad procedure avialble please.
Thanks
