PPC is a small business specializing in flexible barrier packaging for military and industrial uses. The packaging provides protection against corrosion, UV, odors, static electricity, and other hazards during storage for up to 20 years.
The Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kit converts free-fall bombs into accurate, all-weather "smart" munitions by adding a guidance tail section, an inertial guidance system, and a Global Positioning System guidance control unit. JDAM is a joint United States Air Force and United States Navy program.
For the work on JDAM packaging, PPC has earned its Preferred Supplier Certification (PSC) by the Boeing Company. In addition to the JDAM system, PPC provides packaging equipment for Boeing's C-17, Globemaster cargo plane, and the F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet.
