New Products: Mold Mender

The Moldmender Micro Welder repairs plastic injection, rubber-processing, and die-casting molds, as well as dies made of steel. Typical applications are parting lines, corners/ edges, pin holes/scratches, and machining errors. Repairs are made by producing interlinking spot welds to totally bond metallic ribbon, wire, paste or powder to the desired area of the workpiece. Surface finishing is done by EDM’ing, grinding, machining, plating, or polishing.
