Industrial Gear Units

January 26, 2006

Staff

The "Compact" MC Series of industrial gear units feature an extended bearing distance for mixing and agitating applications.

Printer-friendly version

The new design has stronger bearings within the gear unit, eliminating the need for oversizing of the gear unit and, in many cases, the need for separate bearings in the agitator. The reinforced output shaft and stiff high-load-capacity bearings absorb forces that occur in critical wastewater applications. An optional drywell-sealing system prevents oil leakage at the output shaft. Aerator blades mount directly on the output shaft. Various output flange dimensions can adapt to the gear unit using clearly defined interfaces. The units come with a rated torque from 53,100 to 575,250 lb-in. The output shaft bearing minimizes axial clearance while remaining capable of absorbing extreme axial forces.
