Hurricane Forecasters Adopt NCAR Radar Technique

The National Hurricane Center will implement a new technique this summer to continually monitor landfalling storms in the United States. The system will provide details on hurricane winds and central pressure every six minutes to indicate either an increase or decrease in the hurricane's strength.
