Designed for first responders, hazmat workers, firefighters, and military personnel it has a chest strap that monitors breath and heart rate, activity, posture, and skin temperature. It works with a wireless communication network from RAE Systems to notify responders about hazardous gases and radiation in the environment. The data collected by the shirt is transmitted using a wireless modem to a remote command center up to two miles away. PC-based software continuously displays sensor and physiological data that allows commanders to make informed decisions and intervene when responders are in danger.
