Coming: New Thermoplastic Elastomers

Leominster, Mass. . . .DSM Elastomers, based in Heerlen, the Netherlands, and GLS, based in Arlington, Ill., formed Alliance Alloys to develop new thermoplastic elastomer alloys. The joint venture provides new alloy technologies that strengthen and differentiate product offerings of the two companies as well as move them into new markets. Two new alloys, Versalloy for consumer use, and Keltalloy for industrial and automotive applications, combine tactile and cosmetic appeal, with durability and longevity. Alliance Alloys offers a full line of elastomeric alloys, including those based upon TPVs, SEBSs, plastomers, copolyesters, and TPUs, as well as custom alloys.
