A computational knowledge engine

According to Wolfram Research, its computational knowledge engine WolframAlpha (still in beta mode), will eventually make all systematic knowledge immediately computable and accessible to everyone. The company says it “aims to collect and curate all objective data; implement every known model, method, and algorithm; and make it possible to compute whatever can be computed about anything.” The stated goal is to build on science and other knowledge systems to provide a single source for definitive answers to factual queries.
