A car with no blind spots
The eXasis, a concept car from Rinspeed in Geneva, features fore and aft tandem seating, a supercharged two-cylinder 750-cc engine that burns bioethanol and puts out 150 hp, and a body and floor pan made of transparent plastic.
The world will get its first look at the 1,650-lb vehicle at the Geneva Auto Show in March. Frank Rinderknecht, president of Rinspeed, says the eXasis' transparency "symbolizes the development process, a process that takes immaterial spirit and turns it into matter, transforming a vision into a real car."
