Vision Sensors

June 3, 2004
Two new vision sensors, called the In-Sight 5100 and the In-Sight 5400, are said to have four times the processing power of comparably priced vision sensors and a rugged industrial design.

VISION SENSORS

Both models meet IEC specifications for shock and vibration, and have an IP67 (NEMA 6) rating for dust and washdown protection. Both models acquire up to 60 full frames/sec. When a full image is not necessary, they generate images at even higher speeds using partial acquisition. A library of vision tools helps in developing applications and administering networks.
