The 28-mm mounting center makes a 10-actuator assembly less than 12-in. wide. The built-in solid-state position sensor provides ±12-µm repeatability and a 1-Vpp sin/cos output, eliminating the traditional external encoder and simplifying installation. The thrust-rod diameter is 11 mm while the forcer measures 61 × 26 mm and is rated for 75-V operation. The STA11 is also food safe and meets IP67 wash-down specifications. The unit has the same form factor as regular pneumatic and electric actuators and conforms to international mechanical standards.
