Temperature-stable thermoplastic resin - SABIC Innovative Polymers

    The TPI resin works in injection-molding and extrusion processes.

    Extem UH 1019 amorphous thermoplastic polyimide (TPI) resin withstands continuous exposure to 260°C without fillers while maintaining stiffness 8x higher than semicrystalline PEEK. It resists creep and thermal expansion. Its thermoplastic chemistry works with injection molding, extrusion, and recycling processes. It is flame retardant without halogenated additives.
