The EC112 and EC114 temperature-control boards are suitable for use in heating and chilling applications such as convection ovens, conveyor ovens and toasters, buffet lines, and refrigerating products.
The controls use standard platinum RTD or NTC thermistor temperature probes with an optional mechanical relay or optotriac output to provide safe and reliable temperature control. Digital circuitry constantly monitors for a broken temperature probe or output relay, while the control algorithm uses an adaptive variable duty-cycle technique for better accuracy and less overshoot.
The EC112’s setpoint is potentiometer controlled for the look of a knob-pointer bulb-and-capillary control.
The EC114 is a combination of the EC112 and an integrated “snap-on” board. It’s available in three-button and encoder-and-button versions with a three-character, seven-segment LED temperature display.
Both boards use the same base architecture, and accept 120, 208, or 240-Vac power at 50/60 Hz.
