Solenoid Valves

March 17, 2005
The Valve Actuation Series of solenoid valves are suited for applications where the valves must reliably and predictably actuate larger process valves to control liquid or gas flow.

The Series consists of the 7300 and 2300 lines, both available in pipe and Namur-mounted models. Constructed of hard-coat anodized aluminum, brass (7300 Series only), and stainless steel, they come in both three-way normally closed and four-way directional-control versions. The valves are compatible with lubricated or dry air, and a range of inert and other gases. Pressure ranges are 30 to 150 psi and temperature ranges of 40 to 75°C. Cycle life is up to 2 million with lubricated air. A seal/spool/cage assembly reduces internal friction, and a conversion plate lets users alter the valve's function onsite from four-way to three-way operation. A captured pilot exhaust eliminates external contamination and the need for additional piping connections.
