Cadseek Polaris finds geometric shapes with algorithms that have been improved for greater accuracy and speed. The software now finds parts that are similar in an assembly. A visualization interface provides a complete view of CAD databases in the form of billboards. Users can start a search, "fly" and zoom through the billboard space, or click on a billboard to get more information. Users can group parts several ways, such as by project, supplier, or corporate division.
