Single Piece Flexible Couplings

July 13, 2006
Single-piece, flexible couplings from Helical Products Co. compensate for mechanical movement irregularities such as angular and skewed misalignment, parallel offset and axial motion.

The unique operating characteristics provide performance benefits such as no maintenance, no backlash, no lubrication, constant rotational velocity, and smooth bearing loads.

Standard Helical couplings are manufactured in outside diameters (OD) from 3/8 inch to 3 inches. Metric OD's of 15, 20, 25, 30, 40 and 50 mm are also available. Inch and metric bore sizes may also be combined. All are available in aluminum or stainless steel materials. Helical also designs and manufacturers couplings to meet customer specified design criteria, including envelope (OD and length), torque and torsional requirements, material, special end connections and misalignment needs.
