Severe-Duty Motor

July 27, 2006
The severe-duty line of motors targets chemical plants, foundries, pulp and paper mills, refineries, and other applications with severe-duty environments.

The dual-voltage motors meet IP55 enclosure protection with a 1.15 service factor. The full cast-iron construction is coated with two-part epoxy paint and uses Inpro shaft seals on the output shaft and Forsheda seals on the nondrive end. The motor is UL and CSA recognized.
