Servomotor Has Sine-Absolute Encoder

Feb. 17, 2005
AKM servomotors incorporate high-resolution sine-absolute encoders for position and velocity feedback.

The seven frame sizes incorporate 25 stack/frame combinations, 77 windings, and 19 different mounting options. Other feedback options include resolver, commutating encoder, and a smart-feedback device. Features include a continuous torque range from 0.2 to 53 Nm and speeds up to 8,000 rpm. All motors are insulated to 480 Vac except size 1 (40 mm sq), which is insulated to 240 Vac.
