The PRS-3 Series sanitary RTD sensors are used in food, dairy, beverage, and biopharmaceutical clean-in-place applications. The sensors come with heavy and standard-duty probes.

The stepped design of the heavy-duty 3/16 to 3/8-in.-diameter probe stem offers added strength. The standard duty has a ¼-in.-diameter probe. Both versions have standard probe lengths of 3, 4, 5, and 6 in. and feature wetted surfaces of 316L stainless steel and surface finishes of 32 µin. or better.

Additional features include a four-conductor; 120-in.-long PFA cable with molded nylon strain relief; standard 1½-in., 16AMP Tri-Grip mounting cap; four-wire Pt100 Class A platinum RTD sensor (100.00 ± 0.06 Ω at 0°C) standard; –50 to 200°C process-measurement temperature; and compatibility with three and two-wire RTD instruments and transmitters.
