The DA-138 notebook computer uses a new batterypower system that lets it run indefinitely without an external power source by using two interchangeable batteries that maintain power even while being changed.

It comes with a full-size PCI slot that is compatible with A/D cards, MIL-STD-1553 interface cards, and most other PCI cards. It features a mini-ITX motherboard that is replaceable and upgradable, an allmetal chassis with high-impact rubber edges, and a high-brightness mobile display at 450 cd/m with 15-in. 1,024 768 TFT.
