Rack-Mount Power Supply

Nov. 18, 2004
The N5700 Series system dc power supply is said to offer the industry's highest power density with up to 1.5 kW in a 1U-high package with PC standard I/O including LAN, USB, and GPIB.

Rack-mount power supply

Twenty-four supply models comprise the system, which provides stable output power, built-in voltage, and current measurement from 6 to 600 V and 1.3 to 180 A. Power-supply instruments can be configured in series or parallel operation. Universal ac input with power-factor correction comes on all models so they can be operated from any ac mains input voltage worldwide. Additional features include no top or bottom air vents so additional components can be stacked above or below; the system's interfaces allow fast, lowcost connectivity to PCs or other instruments in a test system and give engineers the flexibility to use their choice of I/O interface; and the N5700 Series can be remotely operated and monitored using a built-in Web server and graphical-user interface.
