Programmable Ethernet Controller

May 19, 2005
The 750-841 programmable Ethernet controller is capable of both control and data-acquisition functions in standalone or networked applications.

The controller contains a 32-bit Risc processor, 512-kbyte program memory, 128-kbyte data memory, 24-kbyte retentive memory, and a capacitor-backed real-time clock. The multitasking operating system contains a program file system and permits online program changes. Integrated IT functions create unique alarming functions such as e-mail alarms sent to remote computers, pagers, or cell phones. Industrial control protocols recognized include Modbus/TCP and EthernetIP, SNMP, HTTP, DHCP, FTP, UDP, and SMTP.
