Pressure/Vacuum Pump

Sept. 2, 2004
The Horizon Model 2250 pressure/vacuum pump targets portable oxygen concentrators. The pump uses a quiet, low-vibration WOB-L piston design and magnesium components that limit the pump weight to just 2.5 lb.

A highly efficient brushless dc motor offers variable speed from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm, allowing airflow to be steplessly varied. In addition, an optional closed-loop controller allows motor speed to be maintained at a preset, constant speed regardless of load or voltage fluctuations. The oilless piston and cylinder design promotes clean, uncontaminated airflow.
