Design specifications and assembly procedures for simple and complex rubber and plastic components are highlighted in a new reference guide, Elastomer and Thermoplastics Engineering Design Guide.

Design specifications and assembly procedures for simple and complex rubber and plastic components are highlighted in a new reference guide, Elastomer and Thermoplastics Engineering Design Guide. It features information on designing better rubber components, recommended tolerances and surface finishes, rubber material property data, rubber-to-plastic bonding, and plastic and thermoplastic elastomer properties. Additional topics include silicone molding for medical devices, and tips for building prototypes and assemblies. The 120-page guide is also available on a CD for easy computer downloads of drawings and tables.
