ND Hi-Temp Patch is for assemblies operating at extreme temperatures (70 to 500°F). The patch, applied at a precise temperature, flows into fastener threads, creating a positive lock that won't loosen or leak. It replaces lock washers, cotter pins, and castellated nuts, as well as bottled thread-locking compounds for large production runs. The patches are orange or gray, and can be applied to almost any internally or externally threaded metallic fastener. Moreover, the nylonlike patch resists chemicals and won't dry, shrink, or let the joint loosen even when exposed to commercial solvents, alcohol, gasoline, motor oil, caustic soda, jet fuel, antifreeze, and brake fluid. Fasteners treated with ND Hi-Temp Patch can be reused without compromising the locking ability or damaging threads.
