Highly visible indicators of the SL-V safety light curtain make monitoring current operating status easy

The highly visible indicators of the SL-V safety light curtain make monitoring current operating status easy. The curtain body conforms to IP65 and IP67 rating standards. Edge-toedge mounting and side-exit cabling let the curtain fit into equipment with no dead zone. Cabling safely tucks away.

Operators can immediately see if the curtain is active, preventing situations where the beam is accidentally blocked. For quick setup, the indicators emit green lights when the beam axes are properly aligned. Red lights indicate the location of a curtain blockage if the beam axes become misaligned, dirty, or blocked.

Standard, thin, L-shaped, E-to-E, and space-saving brackets are available. Up to three curtains (240 beams maximum) can connect in series. Curtain lengths range from 150 to 2,390 mm. The SL-V‘s automatic interference- reduction function stabilizes operations without special wiring.

The SL-V’s built-in external devicemonitoring function allows Category 4 devices to be handled without a safety relay unit. Built-in muting and interlock functions eliminate the requirement of a dedicated controller for the safety control circuit
