The BL20 line of economy modules now come with a DeviceNet gateway to expand fieldbus I/O

The BL20 line of economy modules now come with a DeviceNet gateway to expand fieldbus I/O. Up to 32 I/O digital and analog modules can be connected to each gateway, letting the system handle up to 512 digital I/O points or 128 analog I/O points on a single gateway. Users select digital and analog I/O combined on a single node.

The gateways are also compatible with BL ident, the company’s RFID system that reads and writes data on-thefly using 13.56-MHz technology, even with speeds up to 22 mph (10 m/sec).
