New Product: Rod-lock cylinders

May 8, 2008
New Series CCA Advanced Locking Cylinders with integral Amlok power-off rod clamps control overtravel, drift, and unwanted movement.

Spring force mechanically locks and air pressure unlocks the clamp, so pressure loss locks the unit. High locking force holds the rod in any midstroke position, although actual force depends on rod and piston diameters. An oversized intensifier ensures long service life, even under severe operating conditions. The clamps are an integral part of CCA cylinders or can be added to NFPA-MF1-style cylinders.
